I need more time!
It's been 3 weeks since I started my new job. I work a steady 8-5 shift now and I don't have time for anything else. I haven't used my circut in like a month! I've also stopped reading! BUT I will be going to the gym with Mike after work to avoid traffic. Californians spend way too much time in traffic!

set of cards for a special friend
I'm not a big card maker but I wanted to make some for my friend Sally because I noticed that almost at every occasion she gives cards and actually writes a special message for everyone. I thought it'd be nice to make a set. I don't normally use stamps BUT like a lot of other things... I've bought a lot of stamps. I buy the clear stamps though. $1 at michaels. hehe. anyway! Here is a set of cards I made for Sally.

back by popular demand!
I've been so busy reading my sookie stackhouse books I haven't even turned on my laptop. But one of my dedicated readers, Karen, reminded me that I haven't updated in awhile! sorry =(
Happy April! I started my new job today. it's been awesome!
So here is a couple of things I've made. Mike's cousin's Marlenny's baby shower was on 2/7.
Right on Super Bowl Sunday! Not a big football fan... but I like Reggie Bush. so go Saints!
This was my first diaper cake! I scraplifted someone from the MB for the top. Now I can't find who made it. Anyhow
I like it that it's for a girl cuz I got to use flowers. The theme was pink and brown. I think I could have added more stuff in,
but I guess not bad for my first one!
I also made her some favors. They're very simple. It's little purses cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge.
And then I put some tissues in it and 4 mini size snickers.
A couple things I made as gifts...
a personalized baby bottle.
just a container I found at the $1 section at Target... I figured she can put like cheerios for the baby.

and of course, every girl loves shoes!
On Friday 2/12 we had a baby shower for my co-worker Yvonne.
Nye decorated her desk and we each did one balloon column.

hand sanitizer favors. got these from Dollar tree 2 for $1. Then I replaced the logo with some hearts and added a ribbon.
super cute and super different for shower favors.
these are the other favors. got these clear pillow boxes from clearbags.com. They were actually really small =(
I didn't read the sizes carefully and I actually bought like 75 of these! I was a bit sad... but still worked out
with the pink jelly beans.

some water bottle tags. I love embossing stuff. It gives it an extra kick!

I made this box from the Love Struck cartridge. It wasn't very durable but it turned out cute. I needed to use thicker paper.
I gave away these tiles as Valentine's Day gift to all the women at work. It was only $0.13 from home depot/lowes. It was cheaper than candy and lasts forever! A lot of them kept it on their desks. It's cute.

NEW JOB!
HELLO EVERYONE!
sorry it's been so long since I last posted! I've been sick like forever! I still have a nasty cough. Been to the doctor and almost done with all the cough syrup. oh so funny story about that... the directions said to take 1-2 TEAspoon before bedtime and I was taking 2 TABLEspoons before bedtime and sleeping like a baby! I finally read the bottle like 4 days after I was taking it! and I was like OMG. lol.
I also celebrated my early 24th birthday with my friend Jenn. We all drove down to San Diego, where Jenn lives. We had brunch at this awesome restaurant Tom Ham's Lighthouse.

anyway last week, I took pretty much the whole day off so I can get some rest. I thought I would make all kinds of stuff BUT no! I had Monday off and I slept all day! I had half of Tuesday off and I stayed in bed and watched TV all day. On Wednesday, I had lunch with my wonderful friends SALLY and WENDY! then made a couple of cards when Nye and Mia came over. Thursday I had a job interview in a different department... AND GUESS WHAT! I GOT THE JOB! I'm super excited. I'll be relocating to the old building I used to work in two years ago. I'll be starting in April! Then I hung with my friends T-Mai and Sally. We had some awesome tacos from the taco truck! I liked not working for a bit... I got to hang out with my friends whenever I wanted! Friday-Sunday I was in San Francisco with Nye and Mia. It was fun! Spoiled little L.A girls taking public transportation everywhere and omg so much walking! I missed my car! ...most of my I missed wonderful wonderful boyfriend MIKE! He picked me up at the airport with some flowers! I was so suprised. He's so great!

coming down with a cold!
so I think I'm coming down with a cold!! My throat has been super itchy the last 2 days and today it got worse... People at work are sick... and they still come to work sick because we get in trouble when we call out sick too many times and it's still the beginning of the year so I'm sure they're stashing up their days. Anyway....
Here is a quick update with something I made for a manager's birthday at work.
It says "Rubenpalooza" I absolutely have no idea what that means, but they asked me to make this so I did! It's just a container and I put brownies in it.

I just finished eating dinner and I'm going to take some medicine and hopefully that will make me feel better! Thanks for looking

Valentine's Day
Valentine's day was pretty awesome. My boyfriend is absolutely great!!! I got a pair diamond hoop earrings. Some that I've been wanting for a long time! I was so busy with the baby showers that I didn't get to make him anything but he did get some nice presents =)
Here's a couple of things I made for co-workers
Made this for my co-workers girlfriend. Got a cup of coffee in return. lol
made this for Mia and Nye got one too.
Made this for Nye and Mia. This was super cute and super easy to make. This is the box from the Love Struck Cartridge. The box is a bit lopsided because the cardstock I used is the eco friendly one... and It didn't do too well with the candy inside it.
I made these for like 30 of my female co-workers! It was a hit. For $0.16 a tile... it was such a cute gift.
