Have you had one of those mornings where everything starts out so great yet one simple stupid thing ruins your morning? I’m having one of those and I have such a terrible headache.
It’s already the end of September so before you know it Christmas will be here. I’m a Buddhist so my family doesn’t celebrate Christmas at all. We’ve never had a Christmas tree. We don’t do Christmas dinners or any type of gatherings. I don’t even get Christmas gifts but I love Christmas! I mostly celebrate with my friends. I love the all the food, the decorations, Christmas SONGS! I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEE WRAPPING PRESENTS! I normally take a whole day off work so I can wrap presents! I can’t wait for Christmas to come. Are you naughty or nice? Cuz I’m making a list and checking it twice! Hehe
In the same bag as the cupcake brads from yesterday’s card were these Christmas tree brads. I thought they would be super cute to use on a Christmas card.

Cupcake Brads Birthday Card
Good morning everybody! I just found out that Saturday is World Card Making Day. Guess what I’m doing on Saturday?!? I will be making cards with Helen and Wendy. We’re having a play date! Hehehe I’m really excited. Lately, I’ve been really inspired to make cards!
A couple of years ago I bought a bunch of brads on clearance from Oriental Trading. I just haven’t had the chance to use them because they’re not in my line of sight – they're on a shelf in a box. So I thought these cupcakes(they kind of look like beer that’s foaming. Lol) would be cute on a birthday card.

Happy Birthday Card - MCT Build a Banner Kit Dies
I'm back to work and that's sad. lol yesterday was awesome to be able to do whatever I wanted while everyone else was at work!
I've absolutely been in love with Emma's Dies -- especially the build a banner kit! I'm not too fond of the stamps in the kit but the dies are to "die" for! lol I love how the dies come with the stitching. It adds more details to the cards.
Punch: My Creative Time - Build a Banner Kit
Stamp: My Creative Time - Gift Card Sentiments
Other: Ribbon, Brads
When I make Cricut-less cards... it's because I'm too lazy to put the pieces together. lol. I have both my Cricuts and now. My Expression just sits on the floor. My craft table doesn't have room for both. I think when I make cards, the Create does the job.

You're out of this world!
good afternoon everyone! It's Monday but I have the day off! Back in June, I won a watermelon eating contest at work and got a free day off work. Well, today is that day! My plan today was to studyyy! It is now almost 3 p.m. and it doesn't look like it's happening anytime soon.
I went to get an oil change for my car at the car dealership. It took nearly 2 hours! I tried to read while I was there but it was so distracting with people walking in and out of the lobby! hehe the good thing about getting an oil change at the dealership is that they washed my car! It desperately needed one.
I just had lunch with Wendy. She lives so close to me but yet I don't see her enough! While I was having lunch with her... I went to use the restroom. I put my purse on the sink. The faucet has an automatic sensor. My purse tipped over and water had gotten into the purse. But I picked up right away so I didn't think anything of it. Then I come home -- my books, notes, and pretty much all the papers I had in there were SOAKED. of course my Canon Powershot is also ruined. I turned it and it made this crazy noise! Now I have to look for a new powershot!
Yesterday I was busy busy making tons of cards! Here's the first of many to come.
Cricut: Life Is A Party Cartridge
Punch: McGill Vintage Labels Punch
Stamp: Papertrey Ink - Boy Basics: Out of this World
Other: White Gel Pen
Is this the alien on this card super duper cute?? I just love it!

What a Sweetheart!
I've been having such a long, tough, and busy week! BUT my whole week just got better. I can't even stop smiling! The most awesome guy, Andrew, just brought me a bunch of goodies for breakfast! English muffins - my favorite thing for breakfast! Toast, butter and jam!! This will last me like two weeks!
Andrew, you are so so so SWEET!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! If I had my Cricut right now, I would bust out with a thank you card!

Busy Busy Busy
Hi everyoneeeee! Soooooo SORRY for not posting anything at all this week! I’ve had SUCH a hectic week! I had my first midterm on Monday for my polisci class. I did NOT do well at all. I also had class on Tuesday. Work has been BEYOND busy!
To recap on everything, I went to the L.A County Fair on Friday and my super duper awesome friend won me a Keroppi! I LOVEEEE LOVEEEE LOVEEEE KEROPPI!! It’s like my childhood memories came back all over again! I am SOOO in love with this Keroppi! He sits in the passenger seat of my car and spends a lot of time with me!
I saw my first boxing match for the first time ever! It was a lot SHORTER than I thought it would be.
I finally got to hang out with Wendy and Sally on Sunday. We made some name tags and a sign for Helen’s Bridal Shower. It was just nice to see them. It felt like forever since I saw my friends.
Monday 09/19 was Mmai’s Birthday. So sorry that I didn’t even get to do a post for you!
Happy Birthday Mai!
Tonight I'm going to go watch the Lion King in 3D. SOOOO excited! This is probably my favorite Disney Movie. I remembered watching this when I lived in Burma. lol. I also had the bed sheets and lunch box! Hakuna Matata!
I have 3 weeks of vacations left before the end of the year. I barely took any days off in the begining of the year. So I will have a lot more time to work on my crafts on my days off! Thank you so much for stopping by!

can't stop thinking of you
Good morning everybody. Happy Hump Day!!! I am feeling SOOOO relaxed today because yesterday I gave my speech in my class. Oh man was it NERVE WRECKING! I felt sick to my stomach and couldn’t stop shaking for about 30 minutes. I’m so glad I got it over with though! 1 down 4 more speeches to go. What was my speech about? The dangers of texting while driving.
When you are texting while driving, you are distracted. In 2009, an experiment by Car and Driver magazine revealed that texting while driving is more of a threat than drunk driving. While an unimpaired driver can respond quickly to changes in traffic and begin braking within half a second, a legally drunk driver needs four additional feet to begin braking—and a driver who’s texting needs 70 feet. Your reaction time in case of emergency reduces by approximately 35%.
It is a danger to the person doing it and anybody around them. So when the engine starts, the texting stops.
Heheh just a little PSA! Seriously though, the only time I text is when I’m at a red light and even then that’s illegal! If I’m on the freeway, I won’t even touch my phone. I got rear ended on the Freeway last year. After $6,000 damages to my car and $3,200 in chiropractor bills – I’m TERRIFIED of getting hit again! I cringe when the car behind me gets too close or when other people are driving and I’m the passenger and they get too close to the car in front of them. It just scares me.
Here is my card for today. Very simple. I just LOVE this stamp and wanted to use it. It the $1 stamps from Michaels. I want to use this stamp again for another card that I want to make.
Thank you so much for stopping by! The week is almost over.

3.5x3.5 Thank You Card
Good morning everyone! Yesterday I finally got around to doing some homework! I finished writing my speech and watched some DVDs that’s required by my PoliSci class. Let me tell you that those DVDs are boring. I absolutely have no interest in politics and if this class wasn’t required… I would NOT take it. The same goes for Speech! Haha if you really think about why would I take any class that’s not required to graduate? Lol.
Hehe here’s what I did before I actually got around to doing my homework! As soon as I got home, I saw that my new stamps from My Creative Time had been delivered! I actually thought these would be delivered sooner. Normally I get them within like 2 days. I guess Emma must have been backed up with orders!
I made 3 of these using the Small Talk Stamp Set. They were super simple to make. Again I got too lazy to use my Cricut. You know what it is... my craft table is a mess. I have my laptop on there, because I've been doing my homework on there. Also, My Cricut has a dustcover on it and I don't really want to take it off. So I just leave there... as is.
A couple of weeks ago, I felt like my whole life was falling apart. I didn't know what I was going to do. I think I was just overwhelmed with everything that was happening. Now I finally feel like my life is falling back into place. I feel content and I feel like everything will work out the way that it should.
Thank you so much for stopping and for always letting me rant here! Have a wonderful day!

The weekend recap
Good morning everybody! I hope everyone had a FABULOUS weekend! I know I did.
This whole weekend I told myself that I would do my homework and that I would catch up on all my reading for school. Of course that absolutely DID NOT happen! I went out Friday night with my friends and stayed out till 3 a.m. again! Who knew right? This time without even any energy drinks. I had such a good time. I've never danced like that before.
Saturday I said I would do my homework during the day but NOPE didn't happen again. In the evening, I went with Melissa to a make up studio opening for her friend. Then we had dinner afterwards. I went to bed as soon as I got home.
Sunday I woke up nice and early. I was going to do my homework! Then nope... instead I did this!
I had the urge to bake cookies. I made some Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookies -- Andrew's favorite. He had told me about these cookies! Also made some Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies. My Co-workers will defintely be enjoying these!
Then after the cookies... I went to Michael's! Then to the Mall. I just couldn't sit still... I'm so excited because I bought a pair of Tom's! Some sparkling ones! I cannot wait to wear these!
When I catch up on my homework... I will make some cards. Thank you for stopping by!

Remember 9/11
I was born and raised in Burma. I've been so fortunate to live in this country for the past 15 years and would not trade it for anything in the world!

NEW CAMERA LENS!
YAY! I’m so excited! I’m kind of funny in the way that I’m so cheap with myself! It is like impossible for me to get myself to spend like more than $100 on myself. I REALLY have to think about it and see if I really need it. When it comes to buying stuff for the people I love, money is not an issue.
For like the last two months… I’ve been eyeing this Nikon lens. I couldn’t get myself to buy it for some reason.
Last week, I submitted my tuition reimbursement through work and it was approved. The payment was processed TODAY! So this is how I’m justifying buying my lens!
I just ordered it on Amazon right now! I can’t wait for its arrival. The pictures of my cards will definitely be taken with this lens!

Herb Roasted Whole Chicken
Good morning everybody! I had the sudden urge to cook yesterday. It has been some time since I cooked anything! I couldn't wait to get off work so that I can go to the market and buy stuff.
Wendy had first introduced me to this recipe. It’s from Pioneer Woman – Herb Roasted Whole Chicken. It takes very few ingredients and incredibly easy to make! I don’t follow Pioneer Woman’s recipe to the exact but it’s based off it. It's absolutely DEE-LIIICIOUS!
You buy a whole chicken. I’m not sure how many of you have a Fresh & Easy Market by you… but it’s a wonderful place! A WHOLE chicken -- fully cleaned!!! for $5.16?!
Then you cut up some lemons, onions, and garlic… and then you stuff them into “the nether regions of your chicken”
Mix some EVOO, salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme and rub it all over the chicken.
Bake at 450 degrees for an hour… and VOILA!
There's a couple more Pionner Woman recipes I want to try. Wendy got me her cook book for Christmas 2 years ago and I have yet to make anything from it yet! SOON!! very soon!
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope I have inspired you to cook something delicious!

Best One Yet!
Good morning everybody!
As you all know... I'm taking 2 classes this semester. I don't want to say that school is kicking my butt because it's not. The school work isn't bad at all. I just have a very short attention span when it comes to sitting still in class! My Political Science Class is only once a month and the rest of the time I learn by reading my book and watching DVDs. Which really isn't that bad because it's on my time and I do it when I want. I am also taking a Speech Class. Now this class is once a week... BUT for 3 hours and 20 minutes!!! I'm constantly watching the clock. Last night I was DYING! How am I going to make it the rest of the semester? I have NO IDEA!
Last night, I had sometime to upload the pictures of the cards that I made on Monday. I don't know why but lately I haven't had the urge to use my Cricut. The cards I've been making have been totally Cricut-less! Anyway, here is another Cricut-less card.
Stamp: Papertrey Ink - Signature Greetings
Other: Sakura White Gel Pen, Ribbon, White Embossing Powder, Heat Gun
I just LOVE how Papertrey Ink Stamps works so well with the heat embossing!
September is such a short month but yet it already feels so LONG. Wake me up when September ends! hehe love that song. I just want the next 3 months to come. A lot of things are coming up -- birthdays, wedding, holidays! Before you know it... it'll be a whole new year!

Grand Opening Michaels Visit
Good morning everybody! Since Memorial Day, we had “Summer Dress” at work. We were able to wear pretty much whatever we wanted. Flip flops, shorts(Bermudas for girls) jeans, summer dresses. Sadly, today is the first day going back to business casual. Now it feels so official that summer is over! But you know what they say, when you look good – you feel good! I tried not dress so casual because I felt like I didn’t work as well. If I wore jeans – I would curl my hair or wear heels. A couple of the times(mostly Mondays) I would just wear jeans, tennis shoes, and a hoodie. I felt like such a bum!!! Enough rants about my dress code at work!
I went to Michaels yesterday! Being the nerd that I am, I had to take a picture.
I made a couple of cards last night but forgot them at home because I left in a rush. So I will have them posted the rest of the week.
Yesterday I finally had some time to watch the My Creative Time’s videos. The way Emma uses her stamps… I just had to have them!!! So I ordered Gift Card Sentiments Stamp Set, The coordinating Embossed Gift Card Holder Die, and the Small Talk Stamp Set. I’m really excited for them to arrive in the mail.
Normally, I am not a big fan of giving gift cards/money as gifts. I just feel like it’s impersonal and you only do that with people you don’t really know. But there are exceptions in every case! So if and when I need it -- Gift Card Sentiments Stamp Set and The coordinating Embossed Gift Card Holder Die will be handy!
Thank you so much for stopping by!

It was SOOOOOO packed! I’m not sure if it was because of the grand opening or because it was Labor Day. I mean they didn’t even have a good sale or anything. All I bought was some stamp blocks and a Cuttlebug Folder. There were like 6 registers opened and there was still like 30 people in line. Not even exaggerating. I wanted to take a picture of that… but I thought that would be a bit awkward. Lol

Home Sweet Home
Good morning everybody! Happy Monday and Happy Labor Day! I hope everyone is enjoying their day off and I'm sorry if you don't have the day off. You should work for the government or a bank like I do! heheh.
I've never really mentioned what I do for work. But I work for a bank and I am a loan administrator. I have 4 loan officers that I assist everyday with all their administrative duties but I don't have to get their coffee or anything. lol. That's what the hiring manager told me when I was interviewing! Anyway, one of my loan officers had her house warming on Saturday. Of course I had to make her a card to go with the bottle of wine I got for her.
I recently bought the Home Sewn Stamp Set from My Creative Time just for this occasion. BTW, Emma has SOOO many new stamp sets that I want but can't afford yet..! I just have way too many hobbies and plus I just paid for my classes and books!
Monica from Stampin Daisies had a card sketch that I thought was super cute and super easy to do with ribbons.
Punch: EK Success Punch Corner Rounder - Large Small
Stamp: My Creative Time – Home Sewn
Other: White, Silver and Red Gel Pen, Ribbons
There was suppose to be a BBQ that I was suppose to attend today but have been cancelled due to isolated thunderstorms in the area! It is 90 degrees outside but we're expecting it to rain. I woke up to the rain this morning at like 5 a.m. I didn't have a very productive summer. I didn't even get to go to the beach... so I just want this heat to go away and I'm ready for winter! Bring on the pea coats and boots even though the coldest it will get here is 65 degrees. lol. Californians!
ooooh and the new Michaels by my house -- JUST OPENED. I will be going by there in about an hour!
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the week!
