introducing....Cody!

Good morning everybody! I wanted to formally introduce you to the newest addition to our family -- Cody! Dave and I picked him up yesterday. He was the chubby one out of the two that we looked at. We just fell in love with him. He's a 5 mos old pure bred yorkshire terrier. He's really mellow but yet playful at the same time. He loves naps and bacon just like his mommy!

Where have you been all my life?

David, where have you been all my life? No one makes me laugh and smile like you do. You're not afraid to tell me how you feel and you take care of me in so many ways. I'm so glad you've came into my life!

Wondering why there is an acorn on the card? The first time David and I went hiking, we saw acorns. I had never seen them in real life before that. We picked one up and he kept it in his pocket during the whole hike. I still have that acorn to this day!

I made these for David. It's the ginormous strawberries. I went into Albertson's to get the small ones and I saw these instead. They're SO much better!

David is taking me to a nice dinner tonight. I can't wait!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope your Valentine's Day is as wonderful as mine!

Cake Pop Success!

I’ve always said I’d be a PTA Mom when I have kids. But for now, my “kids” are my co-workers. They get spoil with everything I make because I see them every day. Every holiday, I try to make some sort of treats.

Patty bought me a baby cakes cake pop maker for Christmas. I tried to use and it was a complete disaster! So I just decided to go old school and use Bakerella’s basic cake pops method. It took me a total of 4 ½ hours (baking and putting together everything) Rolling them into little balls was SUCH a PAIN! Tips that I have... use a plastic bowl to melt the candy melts as other material bowls can get too hot. Microwave the chocolate in 30 second intervals and stirring them in between. Save foams that come with your electronics, you can use it when you're drying the cake pops. It was SOOO worth it! EVERYONE LOVED IT! Melissa is even thinking about using it as her wedding favors!

Ever since, Emma came out with her Stitched Lollipop Holder Die, I’ve been dying to use it. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to use it with lollipops or cake pops. Along with the Stiched Lolipop holder die, I used the Scallop & Stitched Circle Die Set & Classmate Valentines Stamp Set to complete the look.

I didn't make enough of the lollipop holds for all the cake pops. So I decided to make quick tags so David can give them out to his co-workers. I just used the heart die that came with the My Creative Time - 100% Sweetness Stamp Set and stamped "Happy Valentine's Day" from the My Creative Time - You Had Me at Chocolate & the hearts from My Creative Time - 100% Sweetness Stamp Set

Now taking orders for birthdays and wedding favors! lol jk. I am going to make some for Sam's daugther's 1st birthday!

being spoiled on Valentine's Day

Good morning everybody. Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m going to have a couple of different posts today!

FIRST, I am the LUCKIEST girl in the world! David spoils me SOOOO much!!! He calls me a Brattsalot. Hehe. On Sunday, I knew he went to get my Valentine’s Day gift. I pouted until he told me what he got. SO to throw me off... he gave me this!

Isn’t that the cutest thing you’ve ever seen! I’ve never had anyone made me a Valentine’s Day card. He put so much effort into it!

I love how he knows how much I love buttons!

and he incorporated YELLOW

No need to see what he wrote. hehe

When we woke up this morning, he gave me this! LOVE it. He gave me the card to distract me first. lol

of course it wouldn't be Valentine's Day, without red roses! They are HUGE

So so so beautiful!

Thank you David for everything and making our first Valentine's Day so special! I can't wait for everything to come. You truly are the BEST.

Birthday Card

HI EVERYONE! So I'm going to stop apologizing for being MIA. lol. It's going to happen a lot more! So get used to it! Just kidding! Life is a lot more busy and I'm always on the go. I don't spend that much time in my craft room any more. I do LOVE this HOBBY. I will continue to make things but my posts will be random. hehe.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day so you know I have a couple of things made for V-day! I just can't post it yet. But I'm very excited! It's going to be super cute!

Here is a card that I made a couple of months ago. I totally forgot about it until I was looking through my camera.

Die: My Creative Time - Build A Banner Kit

I miss your face

Good evening everyone! I know this is kind of a late post but I didn’t want David to see this before I actually gave him the card! I’ve schedule this post for when he’s playing his Volleyball game tonight. He had been out of town this weekend for Super Bowl/Bachelor party. This is probably the longest I have been away from him in like the last 2 months. Needless to say, I miss him very much! How did I survive without him? Lots of shopping!

This is probably the most simple card I’ve ever made but I thought the sentiment was perfect! He always tells me “I miss your face” opposed to just the regular old “I miss you” I used a clear letter stamp set from Recollections. It’s really terrible by the way. I’m not sure if it’s the paper or the stamp itself but I do not like it one bit.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great rest of the week.

Personalized Water Bottles

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a quick and easy project with you. I think the best way to personalize things is by using vinyl. When I buy vinyl, I always get the outdoor grade one. That way I can put it on pretty much anything and won't have to worry about the vinyl coming apart. Since it's washable, it's great to use on Tupperware and things like that.

I got these water bottles at Michael's on clearance for only $0.59! What a steal right? I bought pretty much all of what they had. I'm going to be giving these away to those who support me when I do the Susan G. Komen walk in March. I especially want to do it this year because the walk lands on my birthday!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
