baby shower gift tags

Hi everyone! I'm in my procrastinator stage again. I really should be writing my speech and writing my essay for my mid term for tomorrow but for the last hour I've been browsing the Internet. lol. Yesterday, I slept all day and when I finally got up... of course I didn't do my homework. Instead, I wrapped some baby shower gifts for my mom. Then I wanted to make some tags to go on the gifts.

I made the gift tags with My Creative Time stamps and dies.

The 2nd gift is from my grandma. I would have done this in 2 separate posts but Wendy and Helen would have said it was cheating. lol

I have 7 more weeks of school! I'm so over school... it's ruining my social life. lol. Ok, ok I gotta get started!! Hopefully I can squeeze in some time in between my essay and speech to make some cards. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon!

Happy Birthday Andrew

Andrew once told me that he didn’t like Halloween. His birthday was so close to Halloween that is parents used to combine his birthday parties with the Halloween parties. One year they dressed him up like Donald Duck. I thought it was such a cute story and that an angry Donald Duck would be perfect on for his birthday card!

Happy Birthday to my awesome friend Andrew!

Conserve Water -- Drink Beer

Good morning everybody! HAPPY FRIDAY! This day could not come sooner! It’s kind of sad because it’s suppose to be a short week with Monday being a holiday but NO. It’s been a long one!

Ooh so last night I saw Battle Los Angeles. OH MAN that movie is INTENSE! I mean I was excited that L.A finally gets attacked by aliens in a movie. Why should N.Y get all the alien attacks?!?! BUT WOW Every other scene was like a battle scene and people just kept DYING!! And Michelle Rodriguez -- she is one tough ass chick! She plays those roles so well! And the marines – oh man there were several scenes that made me wanna cry. But probably cuz I’ve been an emotional wreck this week. Hehe my point is the movie was pretty awesome and by the end of the movie, I was ready for an alien attack. LOL

Here is my card for today. I made this for my friend Tony for his birthday – which was on 10/02. He was partying on a booze cruise and I didn’t get a chance to give it to him until like 3 days ago! He said the beer mug looks like a Homer Simpson beer mug. Hehe

you leave me in stitches

Good morning everybody! What a beautiful day it is! It will be as high as 95 degrees today! BUT that doesn't matter because in my office, it's about 60 degrees year round. Have I told you that I work in a 5 story building with absolutely NO windows?! ridiculous right? I have to literally go down to the lobby if I want to see how the weather is outside.

I bought My Creative Time's Home Sewn Stamp Set to make a house warming card for a co-worker. But I wanted to use the stamps for other occasions too. The phrase “you leave me in stitches” I had no idea what it meant. I had to actually look it up. It means to cause someone to laugh loud and hard, for a period of time. hahah

Punch: EK Success 2" & 1.5” Scalloped Circle Punch,

Donald Duck Miss You Card

Good afternoon everyone! Happy Columbus Day! I hope you guys have the day off like I do! I thought I was going to go hiking this morning but that didn't fall through.  But I wanna say that I had a productive day so far. It's been some time since I've been meaning to clean my room, bathroom, and car. I finally got around to doing it today! My bathroom is sparkling clean. My room is all neat (or as neat as it can be) with all my clothes put away and no shoes on the floor! My car (not trunk) is pretty clean.

I know I thrive on procrastination but I thought I should get started on my homework today. Not do it tomorrow at the very last minute. lol. But here I am making a blog post. I really want to start making cards... But I think I'll wait until after I do some homework.

Here is my card today. I've been loving the Mickey and Friends Cartridge lately. I want to make another thinking of you/miss you card with Minnie and Daisy too. They're just too cute.

Punch: EK Success Punch Corner Rounder - Small, Martha Stewart Loops Punch

tea party bridal shower card

good afternoon everyone! It's a beautiful sunny day here! I wanted to do a quick afternoon post.

I made this card for Helen for her Bridal Shower. I had intentions of making her card through out the whole week but I hadn't really been home. So I ended up having to make a quick one right before I left yesterday. The paper is a for scrapbook page so I cut the bottom of it to get the images. It's very simple but I thought I was still cute. hehe. As Rony would tell Wendy "You can't compliment on your own work!" lol

thank you so much for stopping by! have a wonderful Sunday!

Helen's Bridal Shower

Good evening everybody! I know I hardly post on weekends but I'm home on a Saturday night with nothing to do. I just got home from Wendy's house. We were making cards again! hehe.

Today we had Helen's Bridal Shower at Chado Tea Room in Downtown L.A. Funny story -- apparently there are two Chado Tea Rooms in the City of Los Angeles. When you Google it.. the first and only search result that comes up is the location by the Beverly Center. So we went there and of course it was the wrong location. We were late 30 minutes going to the correct one in Downtown. Luckily -- the bride, Helen, did the same thing and we beat her there. lol.

Anyway, this post will be picture heavy as I actually put my DSLR to use! We had some yummy sandwiches, scones, and tea! The games were fun. Who needs to spend thousands of dollars on a wedding dress when you can make one out of toilet paper?! haha

I know that was a lot of pictures! Today was a really good day! Thanks for stopping by!
